New workflows and existing automations

Make.com Consulting & Custom AI Workflow Automation

Make.com is an automation platform. It connects business software such as QuickBooks, Gmail, spreadsheets, and customer-management systems, often without custom programming. You define what should happen when an event occurs, and Make.com moves the information between connected systems. We use it when its available connections and rules fit the workflow. If the workflow needs more control, we can add custom code alongside it.

BusinessForward designs, builds, tests, and supports Make.com workflows. We add APIs, webhooks, AI services, or custom code when the workflow needs more than standard connectors.

Two starting points

Start a new workflow or improve the one you have.

Build a new workflow

We review the process, design the scenario, connect the systems, test edge cases, document the result, train the team, and support the workflow.

Improve or repair an existing workflow

We repair failed steps, incorrect field connections, missing error handling, weak monitoring, and parts the current automation does not cover.

Operational workflow examples

Orders, inventory, projects, records, and status updates

These are service examples that show the kinds of operational handoffs we can design. No customer is running them yet.

Orders and pricing

Move orders or pricing into the right operational process.

Inventory and projects

Keep inventory, project, and job status aligned.

Approved updates

Route an approved update between supported applications.

Record matching

Match a request to the correct customer, project, item, or record before acting.

High-risk updates

Add a review step before a high-risk update reaches another system.

Exceptions and alerts

Notify the right person when data is missing, a rule fails, or a workflow needs attention.

Office workflow examples

Move routine office updates with clear checks.

These are service examples, not claims about a particular customer deployment.

CRM inquiries

Capture website or email inquiries and create or update CRM records.

Document approval

Route documents for review and approval.

Message routing

Summarize incoming messages and notify the right employee.

Status synchronization

Keep customer, project, or task status synchronized across applications.

Make.com consulting services

Build, repair, and support the full workflow.

Build a new workflow

Workflow review and design

Map the handoffs, rules, and required outcome before setup begins.

Make.com scenario setup

Build the scenario around the process your team needs to run.

Standard connector configuration

Set up supported connections and confirm the fields they exchange.

Field mapping and data transformation

Put incoming information into the fields and formats the destination expects.

Testing and launch support

Test normal and edge cases, then support the handoff into daily use.

Workflow documentation

Document the process, connections, checks, and exception paths.

Team training and workflow handoff

Prepare the people who will use, review, or maintain the workflow.

Repair and improve an existing one

Validation and approval steps

Check information and route uncertain or higher-risk actions for review.

Error handling and recovery paths

Plan for incomplete data, failed steps, and exceptions before they interrupt work.

Monitoring and ongoing maintenance

Watch the workflow and adjust supported connections as systems change.

Connect the hard parts (APIs, AI, custom code)

API and webhook integration

Use supported system access when a standard connector does not cover the step.

Custom apps or custom code

Add focused work when the scenario needs an extra connection or rule.

AI service connections

Connect an appropriate AI service when the workflow needs interpretation or classification.

AI service options

Connect the model that fits the workflow.

BusinessForward can work with OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, a BusinessForward-hosted private model, or a private model hosted in your own environment — when the data path calls for it.

We choose the supported connection based on the systems, data, privacy needs, and required action.

A workflow can use Make.com’s built-in connections, reach a system through its API — a controlled way for two software systems to exchange information — or use webhooks and custom code we write. Webhooks are messages one system sends automatically when something happens in another. We do not assume that every provider has a ready-made connector.

Make.com or focused custom work

Use Make.com where it covers the workflow. Add custom work where it does not.

Make.com is a strong option when supported triggers, actions, data mapping, filters, and rules can cover the workflow reliably.

Read when custom work may be needed

Custom work may be needed for unusual sign-in or access requirements, private models, complex record matching, company-specific checks, unsupported actions, or exception handling beyond the standard scenario.

If the existing system provides no practical access, we explain the limit before work starts.

Reliable workflow support

Keep the workflow useful after launch.

A workflow needs clear checks, practical recovery, and a team that understands what happens when a system changes.

Buyer questions

Answers before you start the workflow.

Can you build a new Make.com workflow from the beginning?

Yes. We handle workflow review, scenario design, connections, testing, documentation, training, and support.

Can you repair an existing Make.com scenario?

Yes. We can review data mapping, broken steps, error paths, monitoring, and connections that no longer cover the process.

What if an application has no Make.com connector?

We check for an API, webhook, file exchange, custom app, or custom service. The application must provide a practical access path.

Can Make.com connect to AI services?

Yes, when a suitable supported connection exists. We may use Make.com’s built-in connections, an API, a webhook, or custom code — whichever the workflow needs.

Can you add a private model to the workflow?

Yes. We can use a BusinessForward-hosted or customer-hosted private model. We review the complete data path before choosing the design.

Will our team receive documentation and training?

Yes. Workflow documentation and employee handoff training are part of the approved service.

Where does your team still repeat work between systems?

Show us the manual handoff and the software involved. We will help you decide whether an existing feature, an automation platform, or focused custom work fits best.
